She was chosen by Council to represent the City of Garland in the capacity of Mayor Pro Tem. But is she taking her job too seriously?
It appears that while Mayor Jones and his entourage were in Taiwan, Councilmember Laura Cox was perceived to be micromanaging things, such as extention of the DART line. This raised objections from a number of people, including our own Transportation Dept. People complained to the Mayor who used all his counseling skills to set the lady straight.
Mayor Jones was heard to tell the Queen that it is impossible for two people to share the same throne.
